Elizabeth E. Potash, 90, died Friday at Geisinger Community Medical Center. She was the widow of the late Eugene Potash and her first husband, the late William Mehall.
Born Dec. 14, 1930, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Keating) Barbuti.
She graduated from Scranton Technical High School and formerly was employed by Linden Systems, Scranton. She was a member of St. Patrick's Parish, West Scranton.
Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Briganti and husband, Bill, Scranton; two sons, William Mehall, wife, Carol, Texas, and Steve Mehall, Nevada; a brother, Pete Barbuti, Nevada; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sister, Claire Huhn.
A private memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church, Scranton, to be celebrated by the Rev. Richard E. Fox, pastor. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
