Sharon P. Kimmick

Sharon P. Kimmick, 75, of Scranton, died Wednesday at Allied Services Hospice Center, Scranton.

Born Feb. 27, 1948, in Scranton, daughter of the late Carl and Lucille (Beynon) Kimmick, she was a 1966 graduate of Scranton Technical High School. She formerly was employed at Capitol Records.

She was a former member of the Green Ridge Presbyterian Church, Scranton.

Sharon was a good student who enjoyed music, especially listening to her records. Regarded as the family, historian she enjoyed Sunday family gatherings, sharing good meals and happy times. A special highlight was vacationing in Cape May with her family.

The family is sincerely grateful to the Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging for their assistance.

Surviving are one brother, Carl Kimmick, Gouldsboro; a niece, Kerry Kimmick Browning (Bill), Clarks Summit; two nephews, Kevin Weissman (Diane), Chalfont; Christopher Weissman (Colleen), Clarks Summit; a sister-in-law, Barbara Kimmick, Clarks Summit; other nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Saturday with graveside services at Dunmore Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. by the Rev. William G. Carter, pastor, Clarks Summit First Presbyterian Church.
