Pearl Ravinskas

Pearl M. Ravinskas 93, South Abington Twp., died on Thursday, in Clarks Summit Senior Living. She was the wife of the late John Ravinskas.

Born February 1, 1932 in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Margaret (Addeo) Martoccio.

Pearl graduated from West Scranton High School. She worked for many years as a telephone operator and later as an assembly line worker for RCA. She was a Parishioner of Our Lady of the Snows and was very involved in their Lazarus program, preparing and providing luncheons for parish funerals.

Pearl’s hobbies included traveling, reading, crafting, and painting. She was also active in different social clubs over the years including the Red Hat Club, Birthday Club, Card Club, and Mahjong Club

Survivors include her children, Lisa Lomeo (Joseph), John Ravinskas (Vikki), Michael Ravinskas (Lam), 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be on Thursday, July 31, at 10am at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State Street, Clarks Summit with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated. Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp. The family will receive relatives and friends from 8-930am on Thursday at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 111 Colburn Avenue, Clarks Summit.
