Patricia Ann (Kephart) Lewis, 84, of Clarks Summit, died on Monday, in Pine Run Village Health Center, Doylestown, PA. She was the wife of Richard Allen Lewis for 62 years. Born March 11,1939 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Eleanor (Trippe) Kephart.

Pat grew up in Roanoke, VA with her 4 sisters: Kim, Susan, Sara, Holly and her brother, Joe. She moved to Montclair, NJ in High School where she was known as “Rebel”. Pat earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Cedar Crest College and met her husband, Rick who attended Lehigh University. Pat’s steadfast love for her 4 daughters and her 11 grandchildren was evident in everything she did! Along with being a Loving Mother, Pat worked for 30 years as a Top Producing Realtor at John J. Lavelle Real Estate and Coldwell Banker Town and Country in Clarks Summit. Before her Real Estate Career, Pat was an Elementary Teacher, a Brownie Leader, an Active Member of the Community, Volunteer at the “Attic Shop” at the Waverly Community House. She was also an Active Member of the Church of Epiphany and helped for years on the Altar Guild and would deliver flowers to the elderly. Pat was known for her fun loving Southern way! All who met Pat loved her upbeat spirit! In later years, Pat and Rick moved to Ft. Myers, Florida and were blessed to live near their close-knit family. Pat was a gifted storyteller, loved walks at night with her sisters, swimming, shopping at Talbots and Boden, fun shoes, collecting earrings, making crafts for her grandchildren, going on trips…especially Smith Mountain Lake, VA!


Surviving in addition to her husband, Rick, are four daughters: Amy (Tripp) Broadbent of Waverly, Meg (Greg) Roth of Doylestown, Elizabeth "Beth" (Paul) Loosmann of Doylestown and Joey Nalty of Doylestown— named after the The Little Women; 11 cherished grandchildren—Emily and Molly Broadbent, Ali, Matt and Jane Roth, Maggie and Ellie Loosmann and Katie, Patrick, Grant and Charlie Nalty. Pat’s beloved sisters: Kim Setliff, Susan Dixon, Sara Fera, Holly Smith and her favorite brother, Joe Kephart.. plus her many nieces and nephews!


The funeral will be Saturday at 12 pm from Church Of The Epiphany, 25 Church Hill Road, Glenburn Twp., with services by Rev. Michele Causton. Interment, Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly Township. The family will receive relatives and friends
Saturday from 9-11am at the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Service, Inc., 111 Colburn Avenue, Clarks Summit. ****Please wear BRIGHT COLORS (even Talbots) to celebrate Pat’s COLORFUL Life!
