Patricia A. Doherty

Patricia A. (Farrell) Doherty, 79, of Clarks Summit, died on Wednesday, in Abington Manor.  She was the wife of James "Doc" Doherty.

Born July 8, 1944 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John and Genevieve (Malarkey) Farrell.

Patty graduated from Cathedral High School in Scranton and went on to work for Northeastern Envelope Company and ICS as an administrative assistant. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Snows Church. 

Patty enjoyed walking, spending time with her grandchildren, long car rides and day trips with her husband. 

Surviving in addition to her husband is one son: Shawn (Fiona) Doherty of Bronxville, NY; two daughters: Kelly (Gavin) Ball of New Cumberland, PA and Tricia (Brendan) Duffy of Easton, PA; one brother: Jack Farrell of Clarks Summit; 5 Grandchildren, Shannon, Tucker, Connor, Claire, Colm; nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by sister, Judy Farrell.

A blessing service was privately held and celebrated by Msgr. Joseph G. Quinn. Interment, St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow.
