Mary Jablonowski, 73, of South Abington Township, died Saturday morning, May 23, 2026 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, with her daughter by her side. She was the loving wife of Robert Edward Jablonowski, who died February 1, 2020. The couple had been married over 45 years. 

Born June 18, 1952, Mary was the daughter of the late Michael and Leona Barilka Wirchniansky. 

She worked at the Abington Community Library for 20 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Parish for nearly 48 years. 

Mary is survived by her daughter Jessie Rabbas and son-in-law James Rabbas, Olyphant, She is also survived by her cousins, who were more like siblings to her, Mary Chmielewski (Thomas), and James and George Beckage. Mary is also survived by her husband's brothers and sisters: Thomas (Valerie), Edward, Patricia Thomas (William), Gerard (Michele), and Mary Williams (David), and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 111 Colburn Avenue, Clarks Summit, PA.The funeral will be Thursday with Mass at 10 am at Our Lady of the Snows Church 330 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, PA. Internment SS. Cyril And Methodius Cemetery Peckville, PA.
