Marion Beatrice (Neveroski) Gerrity, 83, of Throop and Clarks Summit, died Jan. 20 at Moses Taylor Hospital.
Born Oct. 29, 1937 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Melba (Bucantis) Neveroski.
Marion graduated from Hanamen Hospital School of Nursing, which later became Community Medical Center. She worked as a registered nurse for Hanamen Hospital and then Community Medical Center in Scranton, most recently being stationed on the psychiatric floor in CMC for the last 20 years.
Surviving are one son, James Gerrity and wife, Christine of Aiken, S.C.; nephew, Jerry Carpenter and wife, Antoinette of Clarks Summit; granddaughter, Jamie Gerrity; a sister, Helen Bliss; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille.
A private cremation will take place at the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Service Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
