Marie T. Lynch

Marie T. Lynch, 75, of Clarks Summit, died Sunday at Mountain City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Born November 10, 1950 in Scranton, Marie was the daughter of the late John and Marie (Mulrooney) Fitzgerald.

Marie was a graduate of Abington Heights School District. After high school, Marie worked at The Globe Store in Scranton. She retired from Community Medical Center (CMC) as a patient transporter. No matter her employment, she was a people person and enjoyed helping others. Marie was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Snows Parish.

Survivors include sisters Donna Torregrossa and Gerrie Carey, brother John (Pam) Fitzgerald, and her special grandson Jude Everest, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Lindsey Lynch, brothers Jude and Rick Fitzgerald, and two sisters, Peggy Moylan and Molly Supanek.

The funeral will be on Saturday at 10am at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State Street, Clarks Summit with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated. Interment will be private.
