Marian (Frezzolini) Durgin 67, Clarks Green, died Tuesday, in Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.
Born September 9, 1947 in Anguillara, Sabazia, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Edith (Da Damio) Frezzolini.
Marian moved to the United States at an early age and was a graduate of Evana Childs High School, Bronx, NY and furthered her studies for two years of college. She was formerly of Reston, VA and was employed in the hospitality Industry in area hotels around Washington Dulles International Airport. She moved to Clarks Green in 2003 to be near her family. She formerly was employed by BAE, Systems, Jessup, in the manufacturing of defense products
She was an avid reader and enjoyed the company of her loving family. She was very fond of animals especially beagles for which she had as pets over the years.
Surviving are two brothers: Gioacchino "Kim" D'Andrea Frezzoloni, Clarks Green, with whom she resided and Lorenzo D'Andrea, Anguillara Sabazia Italy, a sister: Teresa Fiata, Anguillara Sabazia Italy, nieces and nephews including, Michael J. Frezzolini and fianceI� Stacy Borgia, Greenfield Twp, and Christopher Frezzolini and wife Beverly, Scott Twp; a niece, Danielle Davis and husband Christopher, Uniondale.
The family will receive relatives and friends Friday, 5 pm to 7 pm at the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit. A blessing service will be at 6:30 pm by Rev. John M. Lapera, pastor church of St. Gregory. Interment will be with a graveside services in Italy.
