Margaret L. Wanick 85, of South Abington Township, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday, in Regional Hospital Of Scranton. She was the wife of William Wanick to whom she was married for 60 years.

Born March 23, 1941 in Tunkhannock, PA she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Othella (Farr) Lillie. She graduated from Tunkhannock Area High School and Bloomsburg University where she earned a masters degree. She taught for over 37 years at Lackawanna Trail High School.

Margaret was a member of Clarks Green United Methodist Church, a Golden Star Member of 54 years of Juanita Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Dalton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children: Erin and Erik Wanick, grandchildren, Joshua Wanick and Mary Melnikoff, nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Lillie Jr. and wife Martha, and sister Joyce Truesdale and husband Robert.

The funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment, Hickory Grove Cemetery.
