Judith Ann (Babushko) Hendrickson, 75, Clarks Summit, died Tuesday at home. She was the wife of Forest "Butch" F. Hendrickson III. The couple have been married over 50 years.
Born Feb. 6, 1943, in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late John and Ann (Kalmanowicz) Babushko.
She lived in Clarks Summit over 50 years and was formerly of Exeter. She was a graduate of Exeter High School and was a registered nurse having graduated from the Pittston Hospital School of Nursing. During her professional career, she was employed by Lackawanna Valley Dermatology, Scranton, and an area private dermatology practice. She had provided private duty nursing in the area. Judith was a caregiver at heart and provided comfort as she spent time taking care of others.
Judith was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Snows Parish, Clarks Summit.
A loving wife and mother, she was devoted to her family. She was an excellent home maker. A beautiful person on the inside and out, she was striking in her appearance. She idolized her family and especially enjoyed spending time at the beach with them and the Finger Lakes. Her genuine kindness and smile will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are two sons, Forest IV and wife, Lori, Clarks Summit; and Scott and wife, Kate, Philadelphia; a brother, Carl Babushko and wife, Joann, Clarks Summit; a grandson, Forest F. Hendrickson V.
The funeral will be Tuesday from Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. to be celebrated by Father Seth Wasnock, assistant pastor.
Interment, Clarks Green Cemetery.
The family will receive relatives and friends Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Service Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit.
