Joseph Kuligowski

Joseph Kuligowski, 84, died in the Dormitories of Allied Services in Scranton on March 30, 2017, after a prolonged illness.

He was a son of Helen and Stanley Kuligowski, both deceased and former residents of Scranton. Joseph had been a resident of Allied Services all of his adult life along with his brother, David, who passed away in 1979.

One other brother, Francis, 81, survives him and resides with his wife, Eileen, in Florida.

Joseph was well-known and loved by the entire Allied staff and was especially noted for his love of music and for participating in many social and church choir events. His parents and family were residents of East Mountain and members of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic, where his mother had been the organist for 20 years.

A memorial service was held Sunday at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services Inc. Interment will be private.
