Born May 20, 1925 in Bronx, NY he was the son of the late Nicholas and Rose (Basciano) Pisaturo. He worked for over 48 years for Sandvik Steel as a foreman in the spring division, starting at the age of 15 years old and retiring after several years as a consultant.
John was a parishioner of the Church of St. Gregory. He truly enjoyed dancing to Old Friends, and attending baseball and basketball games, where he was known for his whistling and being the loudest one cheering.
Survivors include his daughters Susan Twist and companion, Rick Moser, of S. Abington Twp., Eileen Snyder and husband Michael of Port Orange, FL, Christina "Tina" Jones and husband, William, of St. Augustine, FL, Joanie Patrilak of York, 6 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Center, 2010 Adams Avenue, Scranton, PA 18509.
