John McGrail

John Francis McGrail, 69, Clarks Summit, died Wednesday in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp. He was the husband of the former Bonnie Craven. Born June 27, 1945, in Scranton, he was the son of the late Thomas and Suzanna Frances McGrail. He was a 1963 graduate of West Scranton High School. He honorably served his country in the Navy. Before his retirement he served as a business agent for the Teamsters Union Local 229.Also surviving are a son, Jody and wife, Maggie, Clarks Summit; two daughters; Colleen Windrow and husband, Erik, Bethany Beach, Del.; and Shauna McGrail, Clarks Summit; a brother, Thomas and wife, Derry; five grandsons, Max, Patrick, James, Charlie and Andrew; two granddaughters, Claire and Elliott; and additional loved ones, Lara Gierulski, Katrina LaRusso, Gino LaRusso, Nikolas, Blake and Kylie.The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Service Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit. A private blessing service will be held by Monsignor James J. McGarry, pastor of Our Lady of the Snows.
