James Laskowski

James V. Laskowski, 58, died on Tuesday, September 17, in Geisinger CMC, Scranton, with his family by his side, after an illness. James was born March 22, 1966 in Scranton, He was the son of the late John and Joan Laskowski.

James graduated as valedictorian from West Scranton High School in 1984 where he was also class president. He was brilliant, funny, and a fantastic tennis player. He loved to play guitar, listen to music, and was an avid reader.

He is survived by a sister, Marlene and husband Rick Karam, an aunt, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by a brother, John Laskowski.

Services will be private with internment in Cathedral Cemetery.
