George J. Erpelding, 91, of Clarks Summit, died Wednesday afternoon at home. His wife of 57 years is the former Alberta Wascher.Born April 29, 1924, in South Milwaukee, Wis., son of the late George and Frances Rademacher Erpelding, he was a World War II Army veteran. Before retirement, he owned and operated an auto body shop, and formerly worked at General Electric Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wis. He was a man of many talents. George liked to tinker with electronics and circuit boards, and he enjoyed flower gardening. He was always doing something constructive.Also surviving are a son, Michael and wife, Joan, South Abington Twp.; a sister, Beatrice Johnson, California; three grandchildren, Paul, Devon and Zoe; and several nieces and nephews.He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth McConnell; and a brother, Richard Erpelding.Visitation blessing service will be private with services by the Rev.
