Elizabeth Ruth (Maus) Pasco 93, Scranton, died Thursday, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of the late William Pasco, who died August 13, 2005. The couple had been married over 60 years at the time of his death.
Born September 11, 1923 in Scranton she was the daughter of the late John and Amelia (Rudolph) Maus. She attended Scranton schools.
Prior to retirement she was an employee at the Grove Silk Mill, Dunmore for over 40 years.
She was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish Holy Rosary Church, Scranton. Elizabeth's biggest love was her family, especially spending holidays together. She also enjoyed her two cats Princess and Baby. She enjoyed playing domino's weekly with Sarah and Jim.
Her survivors include; a son, William, who was her caregiver at home, daughters, Joan Pilosi, Covington Twp and Patricia Pitoniak (Daniel) Pen Argyl; a sister: Delores Gnall, Scranton, granddaughter, Sarah Pilosi (fiancAC.e) James Squadrito, Clarks Summit; two step granddaughters, Lori Buss, (Joe) Macungie and Ellin O'Hora, Lake Ariel; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five sisters, Bertha Jerome, Genevieve Mackie, Ethel Rezzino, Dorothy DeSanto, Helen Maus; four brothers, Teddy, Jerry, Howard, and John Maus, Jr, and son-in-law, Lee Pilosi.
The funeral will be held Tuseday with Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am at Mary Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church 316 William Street, Scranton, to be celebrated by Rev. Martin Gaiardo. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.
