Edith Lomeo

Edith Mae (Neary) Lomeo of South Abington Twp. died Wednesday, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren, in Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Facility, Dunmore. She was the wife of 50 years to the late John Lomeo.

Edith, whose children and grandchildren affectionately called her "Nanny," was the heart of the family. She devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren, and cherished family gatherings. Her passing is only consoled by the fact she is with her "Johny Dough Boy." Her gentleness will be sadly missed.

She was also preceded in death by brother, Fred Neary; a sister, Margaret Klickus; and a daughter-in-law, Debra Lomeo.

The funeral will be Monday from Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. to be celebrated by Monsignor Joseph G. Quinn. Interment, St. Joseph Cemetery, Scott Twp.
