Dolores Floyd

Dolores Ann (Wesolowski) Floyd Age 78, of Forest Hills, MD and formerly of Glenburn, PA, died January 4th, 2025 at home in Forest Hill, MD. She was the wife of the late William Francis Floyd who died in 2015. The couple was married for 51 years prior to his death.

Born January 8, 1946 in Shickshinny, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Doris (Kline) Wesolowski.

Her favorite times were spent with her grandchildren and would do anything for them. She loved to reminisce looking at pictures that captured memories of growing up all the way through her times with her grandkids. During her last months, although she was ill, she enjoyed sharing her baking and cooking tips and recipes with her family. While things were tough at times, she had no regrets as she had a very full and happy life.

Surviving are two sons: Richard Allen, Forest Hill, MD; David John, North Carolina, a grandson, Bradley and two granddaughters, Jacqueline and Jordyn. She also is survived by two brothers, John, Maryland and Lenny Clarks Summit, PA and a sister Nancy, New Jersey and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place on 9 May at 1130 in Fairlawn Cemetery, Dalton.
