Dianne Marie Bonifanti 83, of South Abington, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 31, at her home. She was the widow of Lawrence Bonifanti, who died November 12, 2017. The couple had been married over 42 years at the time of Larry’s death.
Born June 21, 1942 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Oskorip) Lasinsky.
A graduate of Clarks Summit High School, she formerly was employed by Prudential Insurance Company and after a successful career with Prudential prior to her retirement. Dianne was a faith parishioner of Our Lady of the Snows parish, Clarks Summit. Dianne was a happy and caring person who loved spending time with her family. An avid outdoors person, she enjoyed picking blueberries, gardening and maintaining her lawn and the family home. She spent countless hours on her tractor mowing both lawns. She especially enjoyed travelling with her husband to Myrtle Beach during their twice a year vacations. They enjoyed touring various places together.
Survivors include her brother, Stanley Lasinsky Jr., a cousin, Marianne Gesualdi and Frank Ferraro.
