Christine A. Warner 57, South Abington Twp., died Monday, in Geisinger Community Medical Center.

Born Oct. 28, 1965 in Scranton, she was the daughter of William and Joann (Vonusa) Warner, South Abington Twp. She was a graduate of Bishop Hannon High School, and continued her education in nursing at the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County and Allied Careers, Scranton. She worked as a dispatcher for Wiesenfluh Ambulance Service and previously Keystone Ambulance Service, both of Scranton.

She was a member of Church of St. Gregory. A loving mother and daughter, she was known as Nana by Kole and Mikah. She was fond of animals, especially her pets Brandi, Bailee and Bindi.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lisa Robertson for her continued care. Also the ICU and Critical Care staff of Geisinger CMC for their expertise and compassionate care. Her gentleness and smile will be sadly missed.

Also surviving is a son, Matthew C. Warner, South Abington Twp.; a sister, Karen Warner, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a nephew, Eric Kahler, Tampa, Fla.; a niece, Jessica Kahler, Ambridge.

The funeral will be Friday with a Mass of Christian Burial at noon at Church of St. Gregory, 330 N. Abington Road, Clarks Green to be celebrated by Father John M. Lapera, pastor. Interment, Holy Family Cemetery, Throop. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Service Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit. Memorial contributions may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Road, Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
