Brenton William Yonker, 42, of Nicholson, died unexpectedly Monday October 19, at home. Born Nov. 1, 1972 in Scranton, he was the son of Marianne Yonker Stout Mood, Hanover. Before moving to Nicholson, he lived in Hop Bottom. He was a graduate of Mountain View High School, Kingsley, and was a technician for Noble Biomaterials, ScrantonA fun loving person, he enjoyed the outdoors and was free spirited. He enjoyed music and especially enjoyed attending various concerts. A NASCAR fan, he enjoyed attending races and watching them. He enjoyed sports of all kinds, and was an avid New York Giants fan. He was of Roman Catholic faith and was a kind and gentle person, always willing to help others. His smile and gentleness will be sadly missed.Also surviving are a stepfather, Stephen Mood, Hanover; an uncle, Richard Yonker and his wife, Marilyn, Rancho Mirage, Calif.; cousins, Kristin MacIntosh, Vashon Island, Wash.; Kera Yonker, Burnsville, N.C.; and Amanda Yonker, Portland, Ore.; and his special aunts, Helen R. Smith and Susan Courtright, both of Nicholson. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Robert Yonker; and a stepfather, William G. Stout Jr.Services are private at the convenience of the family.
