Beverly M. Foley

Beverly M. Foley, 80, of Clarks Summit, died on Thursday, in Geisinger Community Medical Center. She was the wife of Richard F. Foley. The couple was married since February 20, 1964.
Born January 3, 1942 in Palmer Twp., Beverly was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Eck) Border. She graduated from Wilson Area High School and worked as a secretary for Abington Heights School District for many years.
Beverly loved watching the Penguins play hockey and going to the casino, especially the slots and video poker. She also enjoyed golf in her younger years. Her greatest enjoyment though was her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her loving husband is one son: Richard F. Foley and wife Cheryl of South Abington Township; granddaughter, Megan Foley; grandson, Andrew Foley; great grandsons, Logan and Liam; brother Bill Border and wife, Janet; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Monday at 11am at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services with services by Jim Kalp, a close family friend. Interment to follow at Abington Hills Cemetery, S. Abington Twp. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 3-6 and on Monday from 10:15-10:45am.
