Ashley Marie Swoyer

Ashley Marie Swoyer, 34, of Scranton, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 19, at home. 

Born May 17, 1989 in Scranton, she was the daughter of Christina and Robert Sheehan.

Ashley was a 2007 graduate from North Pocono High School. She was formerly employed as the manager of Friendly’s restaurant in Dunmore until its closure.

Ashley had many interests, she enjoyed spending time outdoors, listening to music and reading. She was very talented when it came to writing and had written her own poetry. Ashley was very passionate about animals and had adopted her cat, Courage. Most importantly, being a mother came first as her children were the center of her life.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her children: Maisen Alexis, Makenna Hope and Cash Warren; paternal grandmother, Connie Swoyer; several aunts, uncles and cousins

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Todd Swoyer; maternal grandparents, Charles and Elizabeth Klim and paternal grandfather, Harry Swoyer.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

A private cremation will take place at Jennings Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. 111 Colburn Avenue, Clarks Summit, PA at their on-site crematory.
