Anthony John Jr

Anthony Michael John Jr., 66, of Scranton, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at Allied Services, Scranton.

Tony was born Jan. 1, 1952, in Wilkes-Barre, and was the son of the late Anthony Michael, Sr. and Anne Decker John Sr. He attended GAR High School, Wilkes-Barre. He was a member St. Anthony / St. George Maronite Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre,

Surviving are two brothers, William (Wendy) John, Ashley and Michael(Eileen) John, Kingston; a sister, Theresa (David) Janus, Harveys Lake; nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held by Hanna Karam, pastor, St. Anthony / St. George Maronite Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp. .
