Terrie Lynn (Ferrell) Cozart, 66, Clarks Summit, died Saturday at home of an apparent heart attack. She was the wife of Timothy Grant Cozart, who died March 29, 2008.

Born March 18, 1951, in Charleston, W.Va,, she was the daughter of the late Damon and Linda (Stanley) Ferrell. She lived in Clarks Summit since 1984, having moved from Columbus, Ohio. She was a graduate of Southern High School in Racine, Ohio, and she received her bachelor's degree in education from the Ohio State University. She had been a teacher for the Abington Heights School District, teaching homebound students and then was a substitute teacher. She had worked for Clarks Summit Senior Living and was employed by CareGivers of America, Clarks Summit. She was a friend of the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter and had worked for over 10 years.

Terrie was a member of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church. She was a lover of animals and enjoyed the time she spent at the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter. Her heart was broken with the death of her daughter.

Surviving are a son, Jack Cozart and his wife, Courtney, Craryville, N.Y.; a grandson, Jaymes Conaboy, Clarks Summit; two brothers, Damon "Jin" Ferrell, Asheville, N.C.; and David Ferrell, Dublin, Ohio; two sisters, Betty Frierson, Jacksonville, Fla.; and Nancy Holbrook, New Haven, W.Va; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tera Cozart Terry, on July 9, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

The funeral will be private at the convenience of the family with interment in Clarks Green Cemetery.
