Sean Joseph Farley, 23, of Waverly, died Wednesday in Geisinger Community Medical Center after a brief illness. Born March 13, 1992, in Rochester, N.Y., he was the son of Dr. Timothy J. and Joanne Farley, Waverly.He moved to Waverly in 2002, having lived in New Hartford, N.Y. He was educated in the Abington Schools and was currently a student of business management at the University of Scranton. Sean was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. Sean loved life, he enjoyed the company of his friends. He loved and was loved by a large number of friends and their families. Sean liked running and working out. He loved animals and the outdoors. He especially liked hiking. His creativity and humor were gifts that he shared. He was compassionate, empathetic and loyal.Surviving are three brothers, Attorney John Patrick Henderson and wife, Stacy, Long Island, N.Y.; Michael James Henderson, Staten Island, N.Y.; Robert William Henderson and wife, Zulan, Staten Island, N.Y.; two nephews, William James Henderson, Staten Island, N.Y.; and James Joseph Henderson, Long Island, N.Y.; a niece, Rebecca Grace Henderson, Long Island, N.Y. A Blessing Service will be Sunday at 10 a.m. at Madonna Della Strada Chapel, Rock Hall, Monroe Avenue, on the campus University of Scranton. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Service Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit.Memorial contributions may be made to the Tourettes Association of America, 42-40 Bell Boulevard, Bayside, NY 11361 or tsa-usa.org.
I am so sorry for your loss. Sean was a wonderful friend and he always a joy to be around. He will be deeply missed by many.

Joanne , Tim and family no words could ever express the amount of our sorrow at Sean's passing. He was a bright and extremely funny person. He brought so much light and laughter into our life's. Our home will never be the same without him. You have raised the kindest person and I can only hope that knowing how he touched so many lifes can somehow offer you some kind of solace in your unimaginable loss. He will continue to always be a part of our life's through our wonderful memories of him. May you somehow find the strength to endure this through your own amazing memories of him.
