A caregiver for many years, she was also an avid baker and seamstress who was proud of being able to use the proceeds for her sewing projects.  She traveled the contiguous 48 states in addition to traveling to Europe to visit her parents homeland. She prided herself on being a driver for her friends until she was 90 years of age.

The family is most grateful to Dr. Giovanni Ramos and AseraCare Hospice, and the Carbondale Nursing Home for excellent care. In addition, she was cared for by Sr. Martha, I.H.M. and Theresa Durkin, volunteers with AseraCare Hospice.
