Linda Ann (Heath) Pechinak, 69, of Youngsville, NC and a former longtime resident of Binghamton, NY, died on Tuesday after experiencing a brain hemorrhage while wine tasting with her husband and close friends in the Finger Lakes Wine Region. She was the wife of Joseph J. Pechinak.

Born January 29, 1952 in Binghamton, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Rose (Peet) Heath, Sr. She graduated from Chenango Bridge High School and Broome Community College.

Linda worked for 30 years as an international service coordinator with Universal Instruments Corporation in Binghamton and later Eaton Corporation in Raleigh, NC. We have lost our sweet Linda, party planner extraordinaire and friend to all. A loss that will be felt by so many for a long, long time.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a brother: Ron (Rocky) Heath; sister-in-law, Shirley Delucia; and nieces, Toni Malandra, Nicole Heath, and Erin Zureth. Also surviving is her brother-in-law, Len Pechinak, Jr. and wife Laurie; sister-in-law, Karen Robinson and husband, Eugene; and many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Delucia.

Linda’s family will receive family and friends on Sunday from 3-6pm at Jennings-Calvey Funeral Home, 111 Colburn Avenue, Clarks Summit, PA. The funeral will be held on Monday at 10am from Our Lady of the Snows Parish, 301 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. Stephen A. Linda was a wonderful person and always had a great attitude when I worked with her at Universal Instruments.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Rest in peace

I remember Linda when she worked with my dad at Universal. She was always so kind and smiling when I would visit. I am sorry for her sudden loss and I pray for your family during this very difficult time.

Although we haven't known Linda and Joe for a long time, what we do know is how kind, fun and welcoming they both are.  When my sister, Rachel and brother-in-law Dennis where having their home built in their community, they were right there when ground was broken till this day.  They welcomed them, making them feel  comfortable like family.  We were also lucky enough to be welcomed into their home whenever we visited.Linda will not be forgotten ,  another Angel has her wings.

I still don't believe that you are gone. We did so much together. Had a lot of laughs and cries .How you would call me that something happened at your house and I went running to your aid. I will never forget when you came up and was so full of support when your brother Chris died and and then  took care of me when I was wounded . Now you are up there with my Chris and he will take care of you, make you laugh along with your mom, dad and grandparents. I pray for your soul an I Thank you for being the best sister in-law ever. I will always love you!
