Kimberly Randt

Kimberly Ann Randt, 39, of Scranton, died Friday at home.

Born on Dec. 29, 1976, in Bristol, daughter of Thomas H. Randt Sr., Carbondale, and Anne Shipsky Randt, Dickson City, she lived in Kingsley before recently moving to Scranton. She was a 1995 graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School. She formerly worked at Gentex, Carbondale, and Wegman's, Dickson City, before suffering injuries in an auto accident.

Kimberly enjoyed fishing and swimming and as a child she enjoyed walks in the area woods and trips to the beach and swimming in the ocean. Her presence was known to those around her; she was a center motivating force to others. She was a kind and giving person who always supported donation and events to benefit cancer charities. She had a flare for her new cars. A friend to many, she will be sadly missed.

Also surviving are a brother, Thomas H. Randt Jr., Clifford Twp.; a sister, Michelle "Shelly" Randt, Kingsley; dear friend, Karen Swenski, Dickson City; her cherished St. Bernard, Clyde; aunts, uncles and cousins.
