Kathleen Margaret (Allen) Kehoe, 89 years, Clarks Summit, died Monday surrounded by her loving family. Her loving husband of 53 year, Francis J. Kehoe. died November 13, 2003.
Born January 18, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Chester and Kathleen (Walter) Allen. She was graduate of Mary Louis Academy, Jamaica Estates, NY and received her bachelor of arts in English and History from Chestnut Hill College, Chestnut Hill. She moved to Clarks Summit in 1992.
She was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Snows Parish, Clarks Summit where she was lector and a daily communicant. Her family was the most important to her, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother. She was a mentor to her family. She mostly enjoyed when her family was gathered together. She was an avid NY Dodgers, fan and later NY Mets fan. Her gentleness and smile will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are, two daughters: Kathleen Moreland (James) Atlanta GA; Virginia Curcerello (Mike), Falls; four sons: Christopher Kehoe (Mary) Wilton, CT, Michael Kehoe (Emris) Falls; William Kehoe (Diane) Sussex, NJ; Robert Kehoe, Clarks Summit a brother: Chester Allen, (Helen), Canyon Country, CA; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren with two more on the way, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Kline and Elizabeth Allen.
A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State Street, Clarks Summit to be celebrated by Msgr. Joseph G. Quinn, Pastor. So sorry to hear of your Mom passing. The loss of a mother is very difficult but the wonderful memories that you have will keep her with you always. Can't believe how fast time has passed.
