Jonathan Hall

Jonathan L. Hall, 59, of Glenburn Twp., died Tuesday at home.

Born Oct. 6, 1956 in Scranton, he was the son of the late William and Estelle Puchard Hall. A lifelong resident of Glenburn, he was a 1974 graduate of Abington Heights High School and received his certification as a welder from Johnson School of Technology. He worked as a certified welder, mostly having worked on heavy highway construction. He had worked on the "Big Dig" in Boston. He was a member of the local Carpenters Union 645.

Jonathan loved the outdoors, he was a avid fisherman in the Hall men tradition. A sports fan, he was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and the Boston Red Sox. He liked riding motorcycles and off roading with his jeep. Known as an expert and crazy skier, he loved to be on Elk Mountain. Admirers could always see his classic "T' form as he sped down the steepest slopes. He loved the shore, the Boston area having lived there for numerous years, and Lake Manataka. His gentle smile and hearty laugh will be sadly missed.

Surviving are a loving son, Peter W. Hall, Glenburn; two brothers, William Hall and wife, Maureen, Clarks Summit; and David Hall, Glenburn; a niece, Maggie Hall, Clarks Summit; an aunt, Evelyn Hall, Glenburn; and his former wife, Alison Sensi Hall, Glenburn.
