Homer C. “Cork” Young, 89, passed away on Dec. 17, 2020. He was the widower of Fay Allen Young.
Born May 6, 1931, in Hollidaysburg, Pa., he was the son of the late William F. Young Sr. and Violet L. Biddle Young.

He was a proud 32nd degree Freemason and a proud member of Scottish Rite Freemasonry.
Cork greatly enjoyed the outdoors with his family and friends, no matter the season. From fishing, swimming, hunting, mushroom picking, to skiing, skating and ice fishing.
His favorite advice was, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.”
He kept his wit, sense of humor and charm throughout his life right up to the end, and he will be deeply missed.
