Some people are missed when they are absent.  Carol Ann Bixby is certainly one of those people.  On January 13th Carol passed into heaven and the presence of God with her loving family at her side.  Carol’s husband Howard (“Doc”) and her family are missing her greatly but rejoice in her new place with Christ her savior.

Born February 21, 1944 in Healdville, Vermont she was the daughter of the late Carroll and Lizzie (Flanders) Tarbell.

Carol graduated from nursing school and worked as Registered Nurse in Home Healthcare.

Surviving in addition to her loving husband are two sons: Scott (Heidi) Bixby of Rochester, NY and Brett (Nicole) Bixby of Montrose, two daughters: Renee (Craig) Parrow of Lakeland, FL and Richelle Epstein of Clarks Summit, two brothers: Rodney (Alida) Tarbell of Middle Springs, VT and Raymond (Linda) Tarbell of Mt. Holly, VT, and 19 Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son in law, Joshua Aaron Epstein.

On Saturday, February 12, 2022 a special celebration service will be held in Carol’s memory at the Bridgewater Church at 10142 State Route 167, Montrose, Pennsylvania beginning at 11:00 am.  The theme of the gathering will be “Celebrating a Life Worth Living”, and will include a celebration service and opportunity to praise The Lord for all of the ways God used Carol in the lives of her family and friends.

D,ear Chub I do not know if you remember me, but I am the youngest Haskell girl. I am so deeply saddened to hear of Carol Ann's passing. It seems like yesterday we were all so young. So wonderful that we have the hope and promise of Glory! I will be praying for you and your family

Our heart-felt sympathy to the family. Pastor and Carol were such great examples and mentors to us in the early years of our marriage in Grand Rapids, MI. A truly godly woman. She blessed many.
