As one of Brett's music teachers, I know first hand that Brett was an amazing person with a musical soul. Brett's personality shined through many times in music theory, as did his infectious laugh. I would like to send my condolences to the family, and know that every time you hear or play music, Brett is sending you his love.

I went all through grade school and high school with Brett's maternal grandfather, Gary Shepherd. It has to be so hard losing a grandchild!

Laurie and Gary, We cannot begin to tell you how very sorry we are to learn about Brett. This is a very hard thing you have to go through to lose him at such an early age. We will be out of town until Sunday and feel so bad that we will not be here for the viewing. You have our deepest sympathy. Donna and Kenny Mitchell
